6. Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies in several places. "Cookies" are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Furthermore, cookies enable our systems to recognize your browser and offer you services. Cookies do not contain any personal data. You have the option of preventing the storage of cookies on your computer by making the appropriate settings in your browser. However, this could limit the functionality of our offer.
7. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

These social media plugins are software developed and provided by the aforementioned social media services, which enables automated data exchange between the website and the social media services. For example, data from one of the aforementioned social media services can be dynamically transferred to the website. At the same time, user data from this website, including the IP address, can also be transferred to the social media service. You can recognize the use of such social plugins by the specially marked buttons. Even when the website is displayed or loaded, personal data can be exchanged with the respective social media service. In these cases, users may be able to opt out of this data exchange by changing the settings in their user account on the website of the respective social media service. If you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of Facebook, Google, Twitter or Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from the respective provider to your browser and integrated into the page. By integrating the plugins, the providers receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a server of the respective provider in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to one of the services, the providers can directly assign your visit to our website to your profile on Facebook, Google+, Twitter or Instagram. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like", "+1", "Tweet" or "Instagram" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the providers and stored there. The information is also published in the social network, on your Twitter or Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the providers, as well as your related rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the data protection notices of the providers. Facebook's data protection notices: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php Google's data protection notices: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html Twitter's data protection notices: https://twitter.com/privacy Instagram's data protection notices http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/ If you do not want Google, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to directly associate the data collected via our website with your profile in the respective service, you must log out of the corresponding service before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker "NoScript" (http://noscript.net/).
You can recognize the use of the Facebook plugin on the website by the Facebook symbol (white F on a blue tile or "thumbs up" symbol) on a corresponding button. You can recognize the use of the Twitter plugin on the website by a display of the Twitter logos (white "t" on a blue background or blue bird) on the corresponding button. By clicking on one of these buttons, you agree to the use of this plugin and thus to the transfer of personal data to the respective social media service. We have no influence on the type and scope of the data transferred, nor on its further processing. According to our current knowledge, the respective social media service is informed of your IP address and the website using the plugin. If you are logged in to the corresponding social media service platform at the same time, the information can be directly assigned to your user profile. If you wish to avoid such collection of profile information, you should log out of the respective social media service platform.
Further information from Facebook on how to handle the corresponding plugin and the corresponding social media service can be found at: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins. Further information from Facebook on data usage policies can be found at: http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

9. Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.
10. Use of Tracking Pixels
Information about our customers is very important to us and helps us to constantly optimize our website. For this reason, we use so-called tracking pixels (small graphics) on our pages. When a page is opened, the tracking pixel is loaded from a server on the Internet and registered with us with your IP address and, if applicable, your cookie ID. This allows us to see which web pages within our website are visited by our customers and which actions have been performed. They help us to get to know our customers better and to constantly improve the shopping experience.
